Codewire is built to respect your privacy. The short version: we collect no personal information about you, and the only thing that ever leaves your device is a record of a purchase, if you make one.
Codewire does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. There are no accounts and no sign-in, and there is no analytics or tracking of any kind. Every calculation runs on your device and works with no signal, so you can use the whole app offline. The single exception is described under Purchases below.
Any calculations you save are stored locally on your device only. They never leave your phone and are not visible to us or anyone else. Deleting the app removes them.
Codewire contains no advertising, no analytics and no tracking. We do not sell or share your information with anyone.
If you buy Codewire Pro, the purchase is handled by Apple or Google, and we use RevenueCat to check that the unlock is valid. RevenueCat receives a record of the purchase itself and an anonymous identifier for the installation, transmitted over an encrypted connection. It does not receive your name, your email address or anything you have entered into the app. This is the only information about you that ever leaves your device, and it exists solely so that a purchase you have already made keeps working, including on a new phone.

The Bend Angle Level uses your device’s motion sensors only while that screen is open, to show the angle on-screen in real time. This reading is never recorded or sent anywhere.
